Referred to as the pen that started it all, the Bullet Space Pen was the very first pen to be created by Paul C. Fisher in 1948. Fisher worked at an airplane propeller factory during WWII and applied the knowledge he gleaned about ball bearings to his very first ballpoint pen.
The result was Bullet #400 which featured the very first 'universal refill' ink cartridge. At the time, this was a miracle as it brought pens that don't leak into the consumer marketplace. The design of the Bullet is so reliable that it is still one of the top-selling pens from the Fisher line.
Constructed out of brass and coated with an attractive Chrome finish, the design of the Bullet ballpoint pen is considered a piece of industrial art and has even been featured in the New York Museum of Modern Art. The Bullet line of pens feel incredible in your palm and features the proprietary pressurized Fisher Space Pen ink refill (SPR).
